Greetings everyone! It's been a while since I've posted here, and thought I'd give an update. Currently, I'm working on a revamp of Simbro called Simbro resErection. It's a large undertaking, but things are progressing nicely. If you're interested, go check out my Patreon. All posts concerning the work being done is open to the public and contain a ton of info.

With IRL work and Revamps, my other projects have received little attention. So, I'll be pausing Patron for a couple months to work on my other project. Don't worry, I'm still working on things, but I refuse to charge Patrons when I don't plan to release stuff.

Hello, all my beautiful followers!

I wanted to take some time to give everyone an update on what I'm up to. With the next revamp not going to be available for at least two weeks, I thought I'd let everyone know what was going on.

So, as mentioned above, the next Revamp (Tatsumaki) will not be available publicly for at least two weeks. The truth is, I've found work IRL, and it's taking a lot of my time. I'm trying to find a happy medium for making revamps and IRL, but it will take some time. Luckily, this doesn't mean I'm not working on revamps.

At this point, I'm trying hard to release content that will persuade people to support me on Patreon. I'm not only working on the Tatsumaki Revamp but also on a Kitagawa "game" and a Dating Sim. I honestly want to make games full time, and I know that revamps aren't everyone's cup of tea, so I want to diversify. These things take time and a lot of trust from current and future supporters. I'm confident that once the Kitagawa Project and Dating Sim are released, I'll have plenty of support (maybe even enough to do this full-time). Still, until then, I want everyone that supports me to know about everything that is happening.

After some comments and messages, I wanted to talk about the Revamps and how I got here.

So to start, I've been programming since 2006. It began as a hobby and quickly grew into something I wanted to make a career out of. With zero artistic ability and most of my time invested in learning, I knew I needed a partner. I've spent the better part of 10 years searching for an artist that enjoyed adult games as much as I did. With every artist I talked to, I quickly realized that although most enjoyed their work, none wanted to take the chance of building a game with a stranger for free. So, I started plan B. If artists didn't want to team up with me, maybe an already formed team would. I began researching developers and their fan base. Once I had all the information I needed, I would rebuild their game. I thought that if I could make the game the same but with more features and better performance, they would welcome me with open arms... how naïve. I quickly realized that most devs didn't care about improving the game or improving fans' experiences; they just wanted to make money. They didn't want someone else to split the revenue with, even if that person could make the game better. Honestly, I gave up. I spent almost a decade trying to find people to work with who shared my vision. This was until I met Rnot2000. An artist that was improving his art and trying to improve his games for fans. Again, I started rebuilding one of his games XXX Simulator. I started with the Rumi animation and quickly showed it to him. Although he was impressed, he didn't want to collaborate due to past experiences with others. BUT he liked it so much that he permitted me to use his art so long as I credited him and changed the name of the games.

What does this mean? It means that even if I wanted to make revamps with higher-res art or with alternate positions, I'm just not able to. Although I was permitted to use Rnot2000's art, we aren't collaborating. What this also means is that I do want to make better games. I want to make something I'm proud of. I want to invest in my games and my Patreon to create games that people will be happy to support. Although I want to make a living, I'm not satisfied just pushing out the same quality of games and pocketing your money. I'm here to build an adult game studio.

Well, I made a mistake... I didn't make an HTML5 export for version 0.8. So, I'm releasing version 1.0. I was planning to use version 0.8 to promote the game and my Patreon on other sites. With no 0.8 html5 version I decided to release 1.0 in the hope I can attract more Patreons and to give me something to put on the other sites.

This version has a new UI, speed bar, presets, a save system (automatic), and should know work with touch screens. I did a bunch more boring stuff that I won't bother mentioning like click+drag scrolling.

As the title says. the android version of Rumi Revamped is now available!

Unfortunately, I've had to disable the drop-down menu as it's doesn't function properly. Instead, the drop-down button will now cycle through the option. I figured this would be a better solution instead of making people wait for an Android version while I try to fix the issue. The browser and windows version will still have the drop-down menus in case anyone was worried. Go check it out on Itch.io
